They got greedy

We have had the hog trap door wired open which allows the hogs to enter and exit without penalty.

After they become comfortable, we activate the trap.

In this trap are four pigs.

This grandson is always bragging that he can catch a big boar hog with his bare hands.  Then jump on his back and use a knife to cut his throat.  In this video, he is practicing the art of chasing a pig down, catch him with his bare hands and jump on his back.

June 17, 2011 fishing report

Toledo Bend Lake

(due to low lake level, beware of submerged stumps and logs)

Water stained; 75 – 79 degrees; 8.67’ low. Black bass are fair on watermelon red soft plastic worms in 10 – 20 feet. Striped bass are fair on live bait. White bass are fair on silver spoons and slabs. Crappie are good on minnows and chartreuse tube jigs over brush in 10 – 20 feet. Bream are good on crickets and night crawlers in 2 – 8 feet. Channel and blue catfish are good on trot lines baited with live bait.  Hand fishing for Channels and Blues good in 25′ baited holes.  Yellow catfish are slow.

Water lightly stained; 76 – 79 degrees; 8.60’ low. Black bass are fair on pumpkin seed soft plastics and crank baits. White bass are fair on minnows, hell benders, and pet spoons. Crappie are fair on minnows and green tube jigs over brush piles. Bream are fair on night crawlers. Catfish are good on trot lines baited with live bait.  Cat fishing with rod and reel excellent in 18′ to 24′ baited holes.
