Teaching our youth to help others

(from our daughter who is a high school counselor for the Willis ISD)

Today, 10 of the Willis ISD student ambassadors (plus Dani, Kai, Garrett, & myself) volunteered at the Montgomery County Food Bank from 9 – 12. The food bank had a little “presentation” explaining all they do and the process.  Our job was outside – getting garden beds ready, planting various vegetables, mowing, hoeing, moving and spreading two HUGE piles of dirt/mulch, etc. it was a beautiful day to work outside. I am so proud of those students. They definitely represented our school well today!
