Making Salsa (red and green)


Our garden proved plenty of

green tomatoes and ripe tomatoes for our salsa.



next step was to boil tomatoes until the skin loosened.

Japaleno peppers were boiled with the tomatoes.



Before blending, the other ingredients were added.

(cilantro, black pepper, onion powder, minced garlic and salt)


When finished, we had a nice size pot of red salsa and

even larger pot of green salsa.

It was put into small containers once it cooled

and then into the freezer.

Our baby daughter provided the recipe and supervision.
