Christmas Day Deer

Christmas afternoon and deer hunting.

Jingle Bells and ho ho ho is over til next year.

The temperature was in the low 40’s and wind was blustery out of  northwest.

Just before darkness, the narrow shooting lane filled with doe.

The high wind had the deer very nervous.

It was difficult to select one without hitting two or more.

For the grand-kids supply of deer sausage next year, we need another deer.

This healthy mid size doe will make one batch of sausage when mixed with pork.
